At Bergner, we understand sustainability as a genuine commitment to people. During the last reporting period (March 2025 – March 2026), our collaboration with Cooperación Internacional, through the Cook & Chef Institute Foundation, has once again demonstrated that our purpose translates into tangible impact.
In India, the Youth Leadership Program has continued to empower minors in situations of extreme vulnerability through education, sport and values-based training. Around 100 young people have improved their academic performance, lifestyle habits and leadership skills, positioning themselves as agents of change within their communities.
Also in Mumbai, the Second Chance project has continued to provide new opportunities for women and girls who are victims of exploitation. Through comprehensive training and ongoing support, a significant number have gained employment or started their own businesses, moving towards real and sustainable autonomy.
In Zaragoza, the Social Leadership Programme (PLS) has benefited more than 300 people through a model based on education, inclusive sport and volunteering. This integrated approach not only improves academic performance, but also fosters values, social cohesion and leadership among the beneficiaries themselves.
Meanwhile, the Inclusive Health Project in Tangier has consolidated its impact on the inclusion of young people with disabilities, combining sport with vocational training in cooking. Progress in autonomy and employability reflects a gradual integration into real working environments.
All of this has been made possible thanks to the commitment of our teams. The Bergner Employee Action (BEA) programme has mobilised 54 employees, exceeding 1,000 hours of volunteering and strengthening the link between purpose, corporate culture and social impact.
These results reflect a committed and consistent way of doing business. Thank you to everyone who contributes to creating real opportunities and a positive, lasting impact.
